ClariVein is a minimally invasive vein treatment for superficial varicose veins. During a ClariVein procedure, the vein doctor inserts a specialized catheter with a rotating wire tip into the diseased saphenous vein responsible for your vein problems. When activated, the wire tip damages the diseased saphenous vein’s walls while injecting a sclerosant medicine that turns it into a hardened scar tissue eventually metabolized by the body.
